EMMA MCCULLOCH as Mrs Savage
Emma is absolutely thrilled to be returning to the stage for the second time at St. Joe’s as the eccentric, kind-hearted Mrs.Savage. When Emma is off of the stage, she spends the majority of her time playing hockey, studying and reading books. Emma’s favourite line in the play is “why don't you like rhubarb?”.
Fun Fact: Emma’s favourite song is Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off.
SIBHOÀN MCMAHON as Fairy
This is Siobhán’s first St. Joe’s production, and she couldn't be more elated to play the infantile and quirky, Fairy May. Her past stage experience mainly consists of full length ballets, as well as recitals where she played her own piano compositions. When she isn’t at school, Siobhán enjoys going to ballet class, watching classic movies, and sketching. Her favourite quote from the show is “Say you love me.” Fun fact: Siobhán spent a summer at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, after only three years of ballet training.
LIAM FULLERTON as Titus Savage
Liam is quite excited to be in his first St. Joe's production, Liam's hobbies include playing drums, shredding on his electric guitar and playing video games with his friends. He also enjoys watching shows like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and The 100. His favourite line from the play is "Oh sit down you hideous creature!" from the character Lily Belle. It's a flat out brutal line and Liam likes the disregard for boundaries of the line. Fun fact: When Liam is not playing music, he can usually be found longboarding around Barrhaven with his friends.
ALEXIS BULLOCH as Miss Willie
Alexis is fired up to be joining the cast as the loving and protective, Miss Willie. She has been in drama at St. Joe’s since grade nine and this will be her second year on stage. When Alexis isn't performing, she enjoys riding horses, reading, hanging out with her friends and doing her makeup. Her absolute favourite line from the show would be “Wouldn't it be fascinating if human beings glowed like fireflies while they were mating?” Fun fact : Whenever she has free time she likes to make up her own recipes.
KYLE CONGER Lighting Designer
Kyle is looking forward to being a part of this year’s production. This is his second year of production and fourth and final year in Drama class. Last year, Kyle was an actor and was part of set construction for Stage Door. He enjoys playing basketball in his spare time. “It’s my own system, Hannibal. I refuse to submit to the tyranny of mathematics.” This quote stated by Mrs. Savage is Kyle’s favourite throughout the play as Math is his least favourite subject. Fun Fact: Kyle owns a red Mustang.
JAY MILLS Marketing
Jay has been taking the St Joseph drama class since grade 9 but this is his first time ever being apart of the school’s production. Jay really enjoys playing all sports, hanging out with friends, going out, and doing weird and spontaneous stuff. His favourite line in the play would have to be when Mrs. savage says, “she’s mighty quick when it comes to money. Personally, I think she took them and stuck them down her front. Heaven knows there’s room”.
Fun Fact: He sincerely likes Justin Bieber and Kanye West’s style.
TESSA MOORE as Florence
Tessa has been in two previous productions, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, and Stage Door. Tessa next year is going to university for Art History. Her favourite quote in the play is “ There may be a better place somewhere - but if you give this up to search for it - you may not find it - and lose what you have.” Fun fact : Tessa has been to more than 10 countries so far in her life.
BOBBY MONTMINY as Jeffrey
Bobby is a mix of excited and terrified for this years production. After participating in last year’s production he couldn’t wait to dive right into a new play. On his spare time, Bobby enjoys playing video games and sports. Bobby’s favorite line in the play falls late in the play, “Please don’t single me out to kiss”. Jeffrey says this to Miss.Willie, a nurse at the cloisters. Fun fact: Bobby has a very fat cat.
MAKENNA DANCOSE as Lily Belle Savage
Makenna is ecstatic to be rejoining the St Joe's production and cast crew for another fun filled year. In her spare time Makenna enjoys watching shows like Grey's anatomy and Bones on netflix. She is a family oriented person and loves to spend time laughing and picking on her brothers. Her favourite line from the play is “I do not like thee, Lily Belle, The reason why, I cannot tell; But this I know and know full well, I do not like thee, Lily Belle.” She loves this line because it's rather amusing but still blunt and rude. Fun fact : Makenna wore heels everyday to school for months to practice for the show.
RHEA PAQUETTE as Dr. Emmett
Rhea is a seasoned actress who loves the St.Joe’s stage. She has done many plays and musicals with different theatre groups around Ottawa. This is Rhea’s third play at St. Joe’s as, she has done The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe along with Stage Door. When not acting Rhea loves to go back in time listening to music and dressing in a vintage; she also loves shouting showtunes. Rhea’s favourite line is “Obvious Exhibitionism”. Fun Fact: Rhea loves a good British period drama.
PATRICK HARRIS Set Crew & Lighting Crew
Patrick is returning for the second year on the St. Joe’s stage. Last year he was an actor in the production of The Stage Door, this year he is part of set construction, and is a lighting technician. Patrick enjoys playing hockey, golf and football. He is an avid fan of the NHL team the San Jose Sharks. His favorite line of the play is when Mrs. Savage says “so you only value me at a dollar and a half?” He likes it because it is a humorous misunderstanding.
Fun Fact: If he wanted to, Patrick could wear different sharks shirts every day of the week.
PAPA SAYKI Set Crew & Program Designer
Papa is eager to be a part of this years’ production The Curious Savage. His favourite hobbies include playing video games and sports. His favorite line in the play is “Don’t cry Mrs. Paddy, I’m sure you hate tears too.” is his favourite line in the play. Fun Fact: Papa was born in Ghana!
SPENCER CLERMONT as Hannibal
Spencer has become a regular in the ranks of the St. Joes’ stage, for this will be his third year in a row. He is a very adept video gamer, along with exceptional skills in the field of eating and sleeping. Spencer’s favourite quote in the play is ‘’Well-he’d have to start before Christ was born and work right through the burning of St. Joan and Savonarola...’’ Fun Fact: Spencer is that he can cook minute rice in 56 seconds!
SARAH SICILIANO as Mrs. Paddy
This is Sarah’s first year of production in the Joe’s production and she is ready to take on her role head on. She has been in drama at St. Joe’s since grade nine. Her favourite line is "I want what everyone wants -- to want nothing. These people have found contentment." Fun fact: I am naturally a ginger!
JAEBETS JOSEPH as Samuel Savage
This is Jaebets’ second High school production this year. If there is one thing, he loves, is to binge watch a variety of television shows! “There are a million things a man won’t do for five dollars⎼but there aren’t five things a man won’t do for a million”, is Jaebets’ favourite line of the entire play. Fun fact: Jaebets has never boarded a plane since he was ten months old.
NICK HAYES Stage Manager
Nick is returning to the St. Joe’s in a role of Stage Manager which he will be doing for the first time. Nick has been involved with drama since grade nine and was an actor in last years production. When not busy managing the stage Nick is active with volunteering in the community, working, and of course spending time with friends. Nick is not particularly fond of the dark so his favorite line in the play is “Lights! Lights! Lights!”. Fun Fact: Nick’s favourite restaurant is The Elgin Street Dinner.
MILENA ADAMS Set Designer
With this being her first year of production, Milena is delighted to be set designer. Her favourite line from the play is “Disaster is easier to digest when it’s aged a little.” Milena enjoys drawing, painting, and watching movies. Fun Fact: Milena can play piano.
